There have been several new developments in the field of hematology and oncology. There is a need for educational sessions for healthcare providers involved in management of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.


Educational Objectives


At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:


a) Recognize factors that affect the diagnosis, staging, and prognosis of patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors

b) Explain indications and contraindications of treatments used for hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.

c) Discuss emerging therapeutic options for treating patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors with colleagues and patients

d) Interpret and practice relevant data presented at ASCO 2015 meeting.
